It has been a crazy couple of days. We had major tornado storms down here in Chattanooga on Wednesday. I know of a handful of people whose homes were affected in one way or another. Power is still out in many places. I was at the hospital all day, working and it was crazy there, as well. Lights were flickering throughout the day and various systems shut off at different points, such as the computers, the transport systems, etc. It was crazy. We were under Code Black and Code Triage all day. I'm just glad I made it out and all the way home, safely. The Lord is good. I hope everyone is doing all well, despite whatever circumstance they are going through.
It was really nice getting to see some friends yesterday and today. In retrospect, I mainly lounged and did a lot of...nothing, but it was refreshing and chill. I don't care who you are, everyone needs a second to 'hangout' and do nothing everynow and then. I also managed to buy $300 worth of snack food-related groceries from a local market. Many much ice cream, random drinks, pudding, and other delicious goodies were obtained. It was kind of magical.
